The Ohio State Bar Foundation has a history of being at the forefront of legal research and publishing. The Foundation has published the booklets "Going to Court on Small Claims" (now available throught the Ohio Judicial Conference at www.ohioJudges.org) and "You Are Commanded to Search" (discontinued). Additionally, the Foundation and the Ohio State Bar Association jointly publish The Law & You.

More recently, grant making, statewide awards and direct programming have provided even greater opportunities to promote public understanding of the law and improvements in the justice system throughout Ohio, often through publications.

  • "Legal Information for Nonprofit Corporations in Ohio" (LINC OHIO) (Fellow Class of 2004)
  • With Liberty and Justice for all... Somalis in Ohio (Fellow Class of 2005)


  • Ohio Jury Management Conference materials, including the annually updated Ohio Jury Managers Directory, are available for purchase from the Ohio Jury Management Association

    The Foundation's newsletter the Transcript is an update of activities pursued by its members in furtherance of the Foundation's mission.
