A Message from President Andrew C. Storar
As I commence my term as President of the Foundation I want to thank all the Fellows and Friends for your support. Without the sharing of your time and treasure, the OSBF couldn’t begin to provide funding for programs and causes around the state that help people in need. Last year alone, you helped the OSBF provide more than $760,000 in grants. You should all be quite proud.
On a much less happy note it’s my task to notify you that our outstanding Executive Director, Alison Belfrage has submitted her resignation effective mid-March. Alison has done a wonderful job in leading the OSBF and putting together an extraordinary staff. She will be sorely missed but has decided it is time for a life change. We, of course wish her all the best and thank her for her years of dedicated service the OSBF and the citizens of Ohio.
Prior to passing the gavel, 2016 President Tom Moushey appointed a search committee to help find a new Executive Director. Along with the guidance of a hiring consultant, the committee hopes to have the new director in place before Alison leaves to allow for a smooth transition.
I look forward to your continued support in 2017 and wish you all a Happy and prosperous New Year.
